Kollywood superstar Vijay Gurunath Sethupathi Kalimuthu, popularly known as Vijay Sethupathi, is all set to deliver his eagerly awaited Village-drama film Kadaisi Vivasayi. It is a Tamil action-drama film written and directed by M. Manikandan. The film stars eighty-five-year-old farmer Nallandi in the lead role and Vijay Sethupathi in a guest role alongside Yogi Babu.
Cast & Crew:
The film music was composed by Ilayaraja and the background score was done by Sam CSV Manikandan and Ajith Kumar as cinematographer and editor respectively. Ayanaka Bose is the additional cinematographer for the film. The film has to produce by Subhaskaran Alliraja through the banner of Leica Productions.
First Look Poster Details:
The poster, which went viral on social media sites, featured Vijay Sethupathi in a completely different avatar. Kadaisi has married an elderly farmer who has no lifestyle beyond farming. Nallandi Raitu, the first actor to have no background in acting, performs in the lead role. While Vijay Sethupathi will notice in the role of a Murugan devotee named Ramaiah.

The movie trailer was release on Nov 21, 2021. Judging by the trailer, the storyline revolves around an experienced farmer and the film appears to investigate the plight of farmers in a unique way. The trailer includes glimpses of Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu, whose roles are very interesting.

Release Date Details:
The film has initially planned for a theatrical release in 2020, but due to Covid-19 cases in the country, the idea was delays. It was decide to release on big screens. The much-anticipated Village Drama has set for a grand theatrical release on February 11, 2022.
