Movie Story
It is a romantic comedy movie that deals with a three-way relationship between a man and two women. Ranjankudi Anbarasan Murugesan Boopathy Oohondhiran alias Rambo is considered an unlucky person as his father passed away on the day he was born. His mother falls ill and believing that he has a jinx over his life he leaves his sick mother.
Years later, Rambo works as a cab driver in the morning and a bouncer in the evening. Two women Khatija (Samantha) and Kanmani (Nayanthara) with contrasting personalities fall in love with him. He moves around the beautiful women till the reality hits him where he is forced to make a choice between the two. What follows next forms the crux of the story.

Movie Review
The narrative structure seems divided into four quarters, or four sub-genres if you will. First, we get a kind of dry dramedy: that is, the comedy is layered under the drama. Then, we get a romance. Post-interval, we get a kind of bedroom farce, with two women cat-fighting over a man: here, the drama is layered under the comedy, and finally, we end up with a relationship drama.
All of this is conceptually fascinating and there are some terrific laugh-out-loud moments, especially in the second half. But the film doesn’t come together. Totally, it is all over the place, and here, I think, is the reason. Take Vignesh Shivan’s Paava Kathaigal episode. There is a shocking death that shows us what the stakes are, and then the film twists into a black comedy. In other words, the drama gives shape to the comedy. Here, I never believed that either woman was truly in love with the man – so the stakes are non-existent.
After a very long time the best entertainment movie in Tamil Industry. Makkal Selvan as Ranjankundi Anbarasu Murugesa Boopathy Oohoonduran (RAMBO) ruled the entire movie with his complete screen presence. Lady Super Star Nayanthara looks pretty lean and old comparing her competitor in the movie. But the role she made had equal importance throughout the movie traditionally as Kanmani. Samantharuthprabhu as Khatija being an ultra-modern girl with her glamorous and stunning glow.
She looks dominant over Nayan and Sammus’s voice, smile & look is just a happy bomb for Sam fans. RedinKingsley with his epic comedy sense is a perfect add-on to this movie. Sree Santh with his special appearance and as a part-time party rich boyfriend was interesting. Dialogue’s in the scene and the song lyrics were just so deep and mesmerizing. As usual, Anirudh Ravichander had melted us through his special western classical melody rock background scores and music for his 25th Movie.
